It's news baby...

In case you have never heard of Cloud9, check out my older blog post. Cloud9 is a web IDE, which allows collaboration as well as comfortable terminal emulation via Web technology. Even I was able to set it up

Go for it

In 2017 I am going to code more Go. Cloud9 has got Go support. If you aren’t into Web IDEs (which I fully understand) check out JetBrains’ new Goland.

In order to install it on your own server you need gocode and a Go compiler.

➜ ~ sudo apt-get install golang gocode
➜ ~ export GOPATH=$HOME/workspace
➜ ~ export PATH=$PATH:$GOPATH/bin

3 lines. Not too hard, isn’t it?

Bonus: if you need this in Vim as well, you can follow the docs at gocode’s Github.
